Pilates exercises are gentle, yet effective, for all fitness levels and abilities. They are non-impact and non-weight bearing, and strengthen core muscles, improving overall body stability. Pilates builds and strengthens muscles that aid in balance, walking, stamina and core conditioning. You are encouraged to take advantage of this FREE program opportunity sponsored by the NMSS (Local Pilates classes can run $15 - $150 but...THESE CLASSES ARE FREE). The instructor is specially trained to work with clients with MS. Your Caregiver may attend with you as well!
