Topic: Learn how to be your own best advocate during neurologist appointment in order to live your best life
Description: Sometimes your care team isn't able to spend the time that they would like to with you to discuss other thing other than just DMT, labs, MRIs, etc. That leaves the things like bladder issues, fatigue, pain management, and more unaddressed and patients just accept the idea that this is just what they have to deal with, but that is not always true. Learn what questions to ask and how to make a plan for when they meet with their care team, so you can maximize their time with your neurologist.
Speaker Bio by LeAnne LeDoux, NP: I have been a nurse for over 16 years and received my masters degree in nursing at UT Arlington in 2018. I trained in neurology at UT Health in Houston and worked very closely with the MS team there. I am now working in a physical medicine clinic with a focus on health and wellness. I am a mother of 4 boys, have been married for almost 20 years, love to do anything outdoors, mostly running and cycling. My passion is helping people become their own advocate for their health and wellness so that they can live their best life possible.
